Malik was born on 21st April 1996,to Nootka V and Kandu VII, due to the lack of space she was probably kept in the warehouse pool with some of the other youngsters. When the construction of Friendship Cove was finished Malik and the other babies were sent there. From her birth she seemed to have a weak immune system and caught every illness going. Surprisingly she survived her first critical years, but was often attacked by her mother Nootka who was probably trying to end her daughters suffering. Because of this continued aggression Malik was put with her father who was very laid back and a good companion for her. Malik lived like this for nearly 4 years. Sadly on March 4th 2000, her immune system finally gave in and she died aged 4 years 11 months. the cause of death was recorded as Immune System Failure
