The night before the Cross.

After the Last Supper with His disciples, Jesus took them to a quiet place on the Mount of Olives, where they often stopped to rest and talk. He asked the disciples to pray for Him, and He went a little further on and knelt to pray to His Father. Knowing what was coming the next day, He prayed for another plan to redeem mankind. But Knowing there was no other way, He submitted His Divine will to His Father, and agreed to go all the way, in spite of the agony that faced him. Not only was there the physical torture of beating, crown of thorns, and being nailed to the cross, BUT FAR WORSE, was the burden of sin being placed on Him, and that His own Father God would turn His back on Him for the three hours of darkness while He carried our sin.......What an incredible depth of love He had for us to endure all that in our place! ..........PRAISE GOD FOR THE VICTORY IN THE GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE, BY HIM RESISTING THE TEMPTATION TO AVOID THE CROSS!.........EASTER 2012.
