Julia and her mother, Bonnie Sweeten, were abducted at approximately 2:00 p.m. on May 26, 2009. The photo in the center and the photo on the right are of Bonnie. They were last seen along State Route 132, Street Road, in Upper Southampton Township, about 1 mile north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two Black males put Julia and her mother in the trunk of a car and drove away in the vehicle. The vehicle has since been located but the child and her mother are still missing.
