IMVU is possibly the worlds greatest 3D chat system. You have your own 3D avatars, where you can make them perform all sorts of actions to interact with someone elses avatar. You can dress them up ANYWAY you want to. You can have your own homepage, where you can import your myspace design to.
You can even be a developer like me - you make the clothes and you get paid with their currency which are "credits". Now, you can turn credits into REAL MONEY if you are a developer. The downside to everything is that alot of the time when you are chatting it messes up and closes down and sometimes it gets annoying. You have to pay real money for credits, unless you are a well-known developer like me or my friends. It takes alot of work to be a developer, and some people make thousands of dollars developing (or making the clothes). Other people can also buy stuff for you, and your avatar can do flirty actions like kissing and hugging ;-)
For the most part, its really cool so you should definetely try it out, Its free to join and you start out with about 3,000 credits to spend on hair, eyes, clothes, shoes, or anything you want!
