Der St. Patrick's Day wird am 17. März 2023 zu Ehren des irischen Nationalhelden St. Patrick gefeiert. Die Farbe Grün wird stark mit Saint Patrick assoziiert. Durch grüne Kleidung, Perücken oder sonstige grüne Accessoires wird am 17. März die Verbundenheit mit Irland und St. Patrick gezeigt. In manchen Städten werden Flüsse und Bier mit Lebensmittelfarbe grün gefärbt.
