BDD AWARENESS!! Body Dismorphic Disorder is a disorder that affects more people that we think! It is much like anorexia in that the face in the mirror is not reality. The mind is NEVER satisfied and those that suffer from it go through many surgeries, trauma, low self esteem, other diorders, Pain of surgery, pain of always feeling ugly or not normal looking... Michael Jackson suffered from BDD according to his doctors.. dont hate, Love those with BDD show them they are beautiful.
(onset usually begins because of childhood abuse or trauma/teasing/feeling ugly/being told by parents etc that something was bad about them during abuse) Michael was called big nose by his father and abused in many ways by him as well. As a teen he got acne and went into seclusion, later he broke his nose and began the first of what would be many nose surgeries, then he was burned in a performance for a pepsi commercial and obsession with his hair also started. THE MAIN PLACES that someone with BDD sees as ugly (horrifically ugly) are the nose, the hair, and the face)
