मन लगाय प्रीति कीजै, कर करवा सौं ब्रज-बीथिन दीजै सोहनी।
वृन्दावन सौं, बन-उपवन सौं, गुंज-माल हाथ पोहनी॥
गो गो-सुतनि सौं, मृगी मृग-सुतनि सौं, और तन नैंकु न जोहनी।

मन लगाकर मन को स्थिर कर एकाग्र करके प्रिया प्रियतम में प्रीति करें और सब का परित्याग करके हाथ में केवल मृतिका (मिट्टी का पात्र) करुवा धारण करें और ब्रज की सुंदर गलियों में सोहनी बुहारी देते रहें ।
श्री वृंदावन तथा अन्य बारह वन और बारह उपवन हैं, इनके अतिरिक्त जो भूमंडल-ब्रजभूमि-श्री-कृष्ण-विहार-स्थल है, उसका सेवन करना और उन वनों से वन्य पुष्प और गुञ्जादि को तोड़ कर, उसकी माला गूंथकर श्री बिहारी जी को प्रिया लाल को धारण करना चाहिए।
जैसे अनेक गौ हैं मृगी अनेक हैं तथा उनके बच्चे भी बहुत हैं और एक ठिकाने ही रहते हैं, परंतु गायों की और मृगियों की स्नेह भरी दृष्टि अपने अपने बच्चों पर ही रहती है, दूसरों के बच्चों की ओर तनिक भी नहीं जाती, ऐसे ही साधक को श्री बिहारी जी के सिवा अन्यत्र मन को नहीं लगाना चाहिए।
रसिक शिरोमणि स्वामी श्री हरिदास जी महाराज आगे कहते हैं कि ऐसे सेवा कार्य करते हुए, इंद्रियों से सेवा के निमित्त कार्य करते हुए भी, उस समय मन को श्रीप्रिया लाल में ही लगाए रखें, जैसे गूजरी दूध की भरी हुई दोहनी मटकी को माथे पर धरकर चलती हुई, सखियों से बातें करती हुई भी अपने चित्त को दोहनी में ही लगा कर रखती है।
"Man Lagay Priti Kijai, Kar Karuva Saun Braj-Beethin Dijai Sohani."
Renouncing all the things but keeping one ‘Karua’ (the pot which is used to drink water, made of the soil of Braj) in your hand, while concentrating your mind, engage yourself in the loving remembrance of Shri Radha Krishn and sweep the various streets of Braj Dham.
"Vrindavan Saun, Ban Upavan Saun, Gunj-Maal Hath Pohani."
Pluck the flowers from Shri Vrindavan Dham or from twelve forests of Braj Dham, or from twelve ‘Upvans’ (small forest groves) and make the garland of flowers, and offer it to Shri Radha Krishn.
"Go Go-Sutani Saun, Mrgi Mrg-Sutani Saun, Aur Tan Naiku Na Johani."
As the cow loves and protects her own baby, the deer loves and protect her own baby, they don’t even look towards other babies except for their own calf, in a similar way, we should love Shri Biharaiji exclusively and we should not look towards anything else.

The crest jewel among all the Rasiks, the incarnation of Shri Lalita sakhi, Swami Shri Haridas Ji Maharaj says, “Just like a maiden carries pot of yogurt in her head, and while talking to her fellow friends as well, her mind is totally fixed upon the pot on her head to make sure it doesn’t fall down. In the same way, One should absorb and fix one’s mind upon Shri Banke Bihariji and Shri Biharini Ji”.
