Chaisse- The Missing

Chaisse- The Missing
HOW YOU MET: You and Chaisse have liked each other ever since 5th grade, but didn't start going out until high school. Ever since then, it was a dream come true. You'd had a couple fights, but you always made up and most of the time you felt like you were in a fantasy. Chaisse understood you, was always there for you, and his warm embraces and kisses felt like heaven. But one day...he went missing. THE STORY: You held the black and white photo of Chaisse in your hands as you sat on your bed. That day marked the 8th month anniversary of his disappearance - an anniversary you never wanted to celebrate. You tried to cry, but found that you'd cried yourself out those long eight months. The hurt inside still felt the same. You missed Chaisse more than anything and you'd give everything just to have him back. You said a prayer - as you had every morning and evening since he went missing - that he was still alive and alright. Police said his disappearance sounded like that of a runaway's, but you knew Chaisse would never do anything like that - you knew he'd only go missing if someone abducted him. You didn't know why someone would kidnap him, but you knew someone did. You only wished you could find who did it - and find Chaisse with him. However, you knew after eight months there wasn't much chance of Chaisse being alive. Suddenly the tears came to your eyes. The harsh reality was too much for you to bear. You held his picture to your heart and cried your eyes out once more. ONE WEEK LATER: Your family was taking a vacation a few states away. In reality, your family had really done the vacation for you - they thought you needed a little getaway to relax, even if it was only a little bit. You appreciated the concern, but it wasn't helping you at all. That afternoon, you asked if you could just drive around. You often found driving by yourself relaxing and made your thoughts clearer. Reluctantly your parents agreed and you began driving until you found a long country road. You looked around at the recently harvested corn and suddenly noticed something that didn't look normal in the middle of one of the fields. Something lurched inside you, and you pulled over. The object was dark and crumpled in a heap on the ground. You trotted towards it, then slowed down dramatically when you started to approach it. It looked like a boy's body - dead. His hands were tied behind his back and there was duct-tape over his mouth. You were practically tiptoeing as you came up to it. The long black hair...the fair skin...the thin body....''Chaisse?'' you whispered, gingerly touching his hair. You saw a horrible gash on his neck that had stopped bleeding a while ago, but still lost a lot of blood. After peeling the tape off his mouth and looking him full in the face, you knew it was him. ''Chaisse!'' you said even louder. Your long-lost boyfriend made no movement. Tears sprung to your eyes - you knew he must be dead. Still, you laughed and cried at the same time as you managed to untie his hands. As soon as they were untied, one of his hands closed around yours. You gasped and went silent, slowly looking to Chaisse's face. His gorgeous hazel eyes were open and staring into yours. He opened his mouth and with a dry cracked voice spoke your name. You bit your lip, tears pouring down your cheeks. ''Is it really you?'' Chaisse asked, his voice barely above a whisper. ''I missed you so much...I dreamed about you every night....'' You nod, trying to stifle your sobs. With a burst of strength, Chaisse managed to sit up, and he reached his hand out and touched your cheek, then your hair. He whispered your name again, and this time you wrapped your arms around him and gave him the passionate, loving, heartfelt kiss you'd been dying to give him for eight months. Now both of you were crying and kissing each other, whispering each other's names and telling each other how much you loved each other. Then Chaisse felt weak and dizzy from the blood lost from his neck and you helped him to your car and took him to the hospital. As he was admitted, you thanked God for letting you find him and bringing you back together once again. IN THE FUTURE: The man who kidnapped Chaisse was caught and given a life sentence. For the first month, you and Chaisse spent everyday together to make up for the lost time - although you weren't allowed to hang out anywhere other than each other's houses, as Chaisse's parents were terrified of him getting abducted again. Chaisse had to spend an extra year in school to make up and graduated at 19. You postponed going to college until he graduated, and you got married before going to the same college together. Later, Chaisse was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder for everything he experienced when he was kidnapped, but you stayed with him patiently and helped him work through it. You had two kids and you never let each other go. You were happily married until you both passed on together of old age.
