Symbolism in this card: Roses are a symbol of Christ, the three candles for God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Jesus holding the lamb for he is not only God the Son but also the Lamb of God so if we believe in Him when we pass from this life will join Him in heaven, The Cross for Christ's Death and Resurrection so if we believe in Him we will have eternal life. The pearls because they represents not only Christ but heaven. There are 12 gates in heaven each made out of one single pearl. In Bible times and today a real pearl is worth an exorbitant amount of money and if you find one the Bible says you would sell everything you own to have one, such is the kingdom of heaven. The heart-shaped key is for the key to heaven. The rainbow-colored gems are for GOD's promise of his great love for us and that He created all colors for us to enjoy. but the rainbow was God's covenant with all creation he would never again destroy the earth by flooding it. So whenever we see the rainbow we think of God and His loving promise, and the Bible says He is reminded of it as well.
