Expect a fight -- or at least some passive-aggressive weirdness -- when dealing with parents or other older folks in your life. It's not just them, but knowing that may not help you de-escalate. ~Yahoo Daily Scorpio (5/3/2013)*************Today, I went to an interview 30 minutes away from me and paid $10 for gas just to be told that the agency isn't interviewing for the position anymore. I was told to come in today at 8am. I get there at 7:50am to get my check (for he last job I blogged on a week ago) and interview. And not only am I waiting 30 minutes to be seen, after waiting and hearing my recruiter give the position offered to me to another woman over the phone that she called, I am then told that the agency isn't interviewing and they will call me when they have jobs available. Instead of crying, I called my family and to my surprise they were supportive of me. My family is finally excepting that I am a targeted individual who has been blacklisted and I don't want them to sacrifice their lives or start a protest but being validated is enough for me. I am so use to cruelty that before the interview, I wrote in my journal saying "I don't expect decency, consideration or compassion from anyone but I will feel bad if I don't try." And I did and there was a test there I took and passed that I was nervous about. When I was told that I couldn't interview, I humbly left and called my family and then I went back in and said "I have been here to test for skills (passed) and I passed the drug test and I interviewed a week ago. Is there anyway I could take the other skills test that I was to take today so I won't have to come back to interview?" I get a ride there so 30 there and 30 minutes back home plus two trips to get me and take me home in 2 hours. And I took the test and I passed. I am not anxious now because I believe I will have justice later and this is a part of my life. It's my life story and the blessing of today is that my family is telling me that if I can't move on, I can stand on what I believe and that maybe one day, I'll find more people like me who will continue to help me grow as a person. I can get a job making $7-$8.5 as a target black listed and I am qualified to work on jobs making much more.

I saw a movie about Dr. King and he discovered that a young black male who looked like a teen or a college student mobbing him and when King and his group (Jesse Jackson etc) confronted the young man, they asked him why he would harm someone fighting for his rights, he said that there were so many people a part of the mob that King was hopeless. When I tell my story, it will be said that women protected, defended, covered up and helped torture a rape victim. Even women with little girls.

I ordered pizza  and honey chicken today at Papa John's. I've been relaxing most of the day knowing the beauty of the trouble I've faced is that I rekindle the broken relationship I had w/ my family because they have validated when I am going through. I recommend music, pure love & taking a child you love to the park and watching them enjoy the simple things in life. I believe in karma and that fighting until I am no longer raped in my home like I was 2 days ago after "Blinging" ends.
