GOD or Government ?

Has Government Lead us to believe that the millitary is our protectors or GOD ? In public schools teachers and students are not allowed to place pictures of " Jesus ", on class room walls, or speak of our soul redeemer " Christ " So, you tell me who is left out of this picture ?
