*Jesus&St.Veronica~
*One of the most enduring & inspiring stories of a Saint is that of St. Veronica~ Little is known about her life, but she lived at the same time as Jesus & was present during His trials on Good Friday. *While Jesus carried the cross, He was shouted at & spit upon by a furious crowd; His face was covered w/ blood & mud & He was having difficultyremainging on His feet. *Watching Jesus fall was so painful for Veronica that she stepped out of the angry throng, despite the risk to her own life. With true compassion, she knelt in front of Jesus & used her veil to gently wipe His face clean. This simple act of kindness still resonates all over the world. In fact, the event is commemorated on the sixth station of the Cross....*AWESOME HUH?!

Lovely! Yes in an Easter Pageant years and years ago my dear Mother Play St. Veronica. She is mentioned in the Bible doing just what you said. Great Blingee. 5++++++++ Thank you so much for bringing this wonderful Saint to mind during the Christmas season. Which reminds us that Jesus was born for the most important reason....
