Despereaux Tilling is the main protagonist of the story, Despereaux was born as a castle-mouse. Named from the many despairs of that time, Despereaux has been an oddball among the mouse community from birth, as he was born with a small body, huge ears, and his eyes open.This behavior, however, does not go unnoticed by the mice, and when he is sent to the dungeon as punishment, Despereaux must rely on his wits, bravery, and inner strength in order to save himself and the princess. I just voted for this little guy in artistic. He's just so cute. I seem to vote against a lot of my pics when they come up. I don't realize it until I vote for the wrong one. Half the time I'm either going too quickly, or don't recognize them. I guess I make too many to remember them all. I don't know. It's crazy!

Great info, ever read The Little Prince? My Dad read it to me in French when I was eight years old. I liked the illustrations a lot.
